it's been pretty rainy for the past week; so i have had some time to work on "Gladys." yup, that is the name that i have chosen for this old school beauty. you can see that she has cleaned up to be pretty nice looking.
i took the front fender and mounted it on the back to give it a bit of a "bobber" feel. i don't want to have a fender on the front when i'm done any way.
cleaning the rust off of the front rim has been a little challenging, but it is getting there.
a buddy of mine built a battery box for me. the original battery boxes were junk.
well, that's about it for now. i'll keep everyone posted as things progress. the next step is going to be the front end. i need to get new fork tubes and a triple tree, then the front end will be ready to reassemble.

Sweet Bike! I have a 1979 Honda CB750K. It needs a tune up so haven't had it out yet this year.
